Mohammed

Mohammed Amar

Co-Author & Translator

Amar is a passionate educationalist with a talent for crafting compelling narratives that captivate readers. With over 15 years of experience in Islamic education, after studying in Syria and Yemen and earning a Masters in Education, Leadership and Management, he brings depth and authenticity to every piece of writing. He is co-author of the Essentials series and has translated works including Kitab ul Aqa’id. Outside work, he enjoys hiking and spending time with loved ones, inspiring others through his humility and Prophetic character.

Rehilea

Rehiela Ayub

Co-Author & Educator

Rehiela is a teacher of Qur’an and Islamic Sciences. She completed her Hifdh at 17 and pursued the traditional Dars e Nizaami. As co-author of the Essentials series and a strong advocate for mental wellbeing, she holds a BSc in Psychology and Child Development and a Masters in Family and Child Psychology. She has published academic research on mental wellbeing in Muslim communities. In her free time, she enjoys being in nature and is an avid reader.

The Beginning

As-Siraat was founded with a vision to revolutionise the approach to Islamic education, publications, retreats, and community engagement.

2012

Mawlid in the City

The first annual outreach project takes place, aiming to inform the public about the true message of Islam.

Specialist Classes Begin

Educational classes launch with a focus on teaching Islamic sciences to the next generation.

Youth Madrasa

A think tank is formed and implemented in several institutes across the UK to reimagine youth Islamic education.

First Publication

Launch of our first Islamic Essentials book, setting the foundation for the growing Essentials Series.
